About Pleasure Pie
Pleasure Pie is a small activist organization based in Boston, MA. Our efforts center around combating sexual shame, promoting consent education, and supporting folks who are working toward intersectional liberation. We make alternative sexuality education materials (including zines, illustrations, and publications) and experiences (events, conversations, and workshops).

Who We Are
Nicole Mazzeo
|
Nicole dreams up much of what Pleasure Pie makes happen. She is passionate about reimagining sex education through zines. Through Pleasure Pie, she creates honest, down-to-earth sex education materials—often in the form of zines—that celebrate the beautiful diversity of sexuality. Her work focuses on consent, empowered sexuality, and sexual rights.
Nicole has led sex education and zine making workshops at numerous colleges, including Boston University, Harvard University, Tufts University, Simmons University, Emerson College, Umass Boston, Grinnell College, and more. In addition to college workshops, she also had experience leading workshops for conferences, feminist sex stores, queer community groups, bookstores, and public libraries. Nicole also loves paper crafts, costume parties, wrestling, and animals (including people). |
Aren Briggs

Aren is a librarian, zine maker and social justice advocate. Their interests include sex positivity, accessible & inclusive education, feminist theory, LGBTQ+ rights, prison abolition and taking pictures of their dog. Aren has written several zines on the topics of sex education, body positivity, menstrual health and reproductive justice.

Goddess Cecilia

Cecilia (she/her/siya) is a Pleasure Educator and Consultant also known as Goddess Cecilia all over the internets. She runs Mer-Made for Pleasure, a community resource which strives to create space for folks to expand their definition of pleasure. She also hosts the Raw Bar Podcast, the Dive Deeper series on YouTube, and does workshops with a large vulva display named Voula the Vulva. In her non-work time, she enjoys Middle Eastern dance, karaoke, and swimming around in her mermaid tail. She lives in Jamaica Plain with her partner, their kindergartener, and their tortie cat Yoni.

Katy Harrison
|
Katy Harrison (they/them) is an organizer at Pleasure Pie and an emerging sexuality educator based in Philadelphia, PA. Katy is pursuing their Masters of Education in Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University and strives to teach anti-oppression based sex education to youth ages 3-11. In addition to working with Pleasure Pie, Katy loves engaging in discussions about sex, identity, and communication, as well as cuddling with their cats, Bitsy and Dusky.
