Write an article for Pleasure Pie!
Do you write about sex-related topics from an intersectional sex-positive perspective? Maybe you want to write an article for us!
Articles should be educational/challenging in some way (though feel free to include personal experiences and feelings as well) and should come from a perspective of intersectional social justice. We are looking for writings that are inclusive of many different experiences and support the liberation of oppressed groups.
Details:
Here are some possible topics:
Feel free to write on other topics as well! We highly recommend looking through our other articles to get a sense of what sorts of things we like to publish.
Also, we sometimes adapt articles from our site into zines. In this case, we do all of the art and formatting, so there is no further work on your end. You will receive five complimentary copies of your zine in the mail (U.S. only). Please specify whether or not you would like for your article to be adapted into a zine in your email. Note: If your article is chosen to be adapted into a zine, the process generally takes several months (since we have many zine projects in the works at any given time).
Email your article, bio, and yes/no about a possible zine adaptation (see above) to Nicole at hello [at] pleasurepie.org for consideration.
Happy writing!
