The early days of Pleasure Pie when we only had one zine

Pleasure Pie is nine! Let's reflect.

The past nine years have been a wild ride of:

Being incredibly passionate about our mission
Making amazing connections with other people who are working toward sexual justice
Struggling with burnout and disillusionment
Growing as educators/artists/activists/people
Growing in terms of the number of people we are able to reach with our work
Transitioning from being fully volunteer-run to paying contributors
Hearing from people about how our work has positively impacted their lives and feeling fulfilled

A few of our events from over the years

I have a bad habit of forgetting to take photos of our events, so I invite you to use your imagination to fill in the gaps of how magical these past nine years of connecting with the local sex-positive community have been.

I'm proud that Pleasure Pie has existed this long. I've seen a lot of grassroots, mission-driven organizations/initiatives come and go over the past 9 years.
